Apple is reportedly preparing a more capable Siri experience for HomePod, bringing the company’s newer Apple Intelligence direction to its smart speaker lineup. Apple has not announced the product timing or the final feature set, so the report remains unconfirmed.
Apple’s current HomePod user guide documents the Siri features available today, including music controls, smart-home commands and personal requests. It does not confirm a future Siri AI rollout.
A stronger assistant could matter most for multi-step requests, follow-up questions and controls that require more context than a simple command. However, it is not yet clear which existing HomePod models would support any upgrade or whether new hardware would be required.
